Hørsholm Kirke – en af Hørsholm karakteristiske bygninger. Ligger på en holm I slotssøen hvor det gamle Hirschholm slot lå.

One of the characteristic buildings in Hoersholm, Denmark. Hoersholm Church was built where the old Hirschholm Castle used to be. (The old castle was torn down in 1810-13). Hoersholm Church was built in 1823 and is beautifully placed on an island in the park lake. 

Today the park around the church is a favorite place for people to walk, picnic and if winters are cold enough, skate on the park lake.

Shot from both the ground and the air, Hoersholm Church is one of the most photographed buildings in Hoersholm Kommune. Since many of the fantastic photos we see of the church are shot in daylight, I choose to bring my camera, my dog, and all the warm clothes I could find, to get a night photo of our church in the light of a full moon.
